English Candle Wick Snuffer and Paint Decorated Tole Tray 19th Century
This English wick trimmer was used in the late 1800's. The scissors opened to snuff out the wick.
The pointed end would then be used to straighten and arrange the wick.
It is unmarked marked.
The paint decorated tole tray is of the same period and was meant to hold the snuffer when it was not in use.
Dimensions: Trimmer 7". Tray 10 1/2", Width 4".
Condition: No damage or repairs, as found. Wear as expected from age and use. See photos.
