EARLY 19th CENTURY BRASS LIGHTING TRAMMEL
Resembling the heavier fireplace trammel, but much more delicate in design, these sawtooth lighting trammels offered a wide range of vertical adjustment for suspended lighting devices. The tips (3) appear to have been made to resemble a form of bird or snake (see photos).
Approximate Dimensions: Closed: 16 ¼” Adjusts to 27 ½”.
