this highly detailed, well made model of a Lake Eirie tramp freighter was made by "Tiny" Mason, harbourmaster for Port Rowen, Ont. sometime in the 50's. It sat in the Rod and Gun club there until the building burnt down in the late 90's. It was not damaged by the fire but there is some evidence of smoke colouration. In other words, it has a nice patina. I can send more detailed photos if you are interested in this or any other item. Some rigging and lifeboats have come loose but it seems to be all there. 31"l, 17"t, 5"w.
