Cobourg was cultured and somewhat affluent in this period and offered architecturally acclaimed Victoria Hall as a venue for current artistic offerings. Many Americans had built summer "cottages" in Cobourg and enjoyed the arts as presented.This poster is shown in one of the photos outside the hall.
