Steve and Wendy Hinton have been in the antique business for 40 years — specializing in preconfederation country furniture and accessories with a particular affection for 18th century Quebec. This does not preclude fresh finds in estate purchases of entire collections, country furniture, folk art, art, textiles, sterling, sport related items (decoys, weapons) etc. They are thrilled with the opportunity to offer you ‘as found’ and ‘fresh to the market’ items.

Steve and Wendy both enjoy the antique business and feel it keeps them young. Steve does the hunting, finding and buying as well as the structural repair of furniture. Wendy enjoys the refinishing and colour restoration

As COVID-19 enters the first phase of economic restart, we wanted to reach out.  Rest assured, your safety is our first priority. As the summer takes full swing and as things begin to normalize we are planning to:

OPEN Saturdays and Sundays only
(other times by chance or appointment only)
During these times we will be:
          -  enforcing social distancing between clients and staff within the barn
          -  limiting the number of people to enter the barn at once
          -  arranging social distancing procedures outside of the barn should overflow occur during busy hours
***All patrons are encouraged to wear masks while on the premises and make use of the complimentary hand sanitizer offered at our entrance way***
Please call us to discuss timelines as the government announces their plans.

It may not be 'business as usual", but as usual, we mean business.  We are stocked and ready for a strong season. Thank you for your support.  Know that we miss you and wish for nothing but the health and safety of our clients, friends and family during this time.
