KathyUp the Grand Antiques is located in Grand River Valley, Ontario
Popular Currier lithograph depicting 12 stages of the life and age of woman between the cradle and the grave. These stages are represented on steps along a staircase, which symbolizes a life-span, crossing an arched bridge. Underneath the arched bridge is a monument in a cemetery on which is engraved the words "Sacred to the Memory of," followed by a blank space in which the name of a loved one can be inscribed. On this broadside the space was never filled in. The paper is yellowed from long exposure to sunlight. There is one fold running diagonally through the right side of the arched bridge, as can be seen in the illustration. Measures approximately 11" x 14 3/4" framed and 9 1/2" x 13 1/2" unframed.
