An unusual but very decorative item - a vegetable chopping "box". Constructed like a small tray the bottom board is thicker than would be expected and shows signs of having been chopped on.

Found in New England, circa 1900.

The colour is great - use it for ....... As a table decorative piece or serving piece it works well. Also holds carpet balls!
