SOLD  Carved Bear By Charlie Tanner


A small carved bear by noted Nova Scotia folk artist/carver Charlie Tanner.

Charlie started carving when he retired in 1974. Tanner’s work is among the most easily identified art to surface in Nova Scotia during the 20th century. He died in 1982.

Charlie Tanner's work is included in the collections of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, and many private collections throughout North America.

A wonderful serene piece.
