Nice pair of Staffordshire Blue and White transfeware plates produced by John Goodwin between 1824 and 1831. They are quite heavy , and have a raised segmented rim which might be hard to see in the photographs. Both are marked on the reverse, and are in good condition, no chips, cracks or scratches. The one plate has a slight browning to a small section to the bottom left edge ( roughly 7 o'clock ) of the one plate, which is much more pronounced int he photographs. By eye, it is very slight and likely not noticed unless pointed out. Plates measure 9 3/4 inches in diameter.
