Paint Decorated Folk Art Wooden Parrot on Swing Perch
This decorative folk art parrot (early 20th century) is made of wood and is perched on an iron swing/perch. The 4 claws are iron, 2 at the front and 2 at the back of the perch. Purchased from the collection of the late Mollie Carswell (Toronto ON). Believed to have been found in Quebec and sold at a previous Bowmanville Folk Art Show.
Approximate Dimensions: Parrot: Height 12", to top of swing 14 1/2", Widest area 3". Swing: 9" x 5". Perch 4 1/2".
