Lollipop Deep Carved Swirling Swastika or Pinwheel Design Butter Stamp Mold Print
A beautiful, graceful hand carved stamp and handle carved from a single piece of hardwood. The 'Lollipop' form of print is carved with the handle on one side of the print. It has a large deeply carved six part radial centre print with a smaller version carved on the reverse side.
In the 19th century, butter print designs were deeply carved to leave bold decorations when pressed into freshly made butter.
