An outstanding circa 1870s glazed flat wall cupboard from Waterloo County. This is a deluxe example of the design that collectors recognize, know and love as early "Waterloo County". The characteristics include the quarter-round cornice with concave return, the arched "Queen Anne" detail to the upper lights and the flat mullions of the glazed doors. Notice the outstanding 15-light design (including centre lights) and the convincing faux-wood grain surface. You won't find a more honest or finer example.
Condition: Original combed paint surface. No structural restoration of any kind.
