An outstanding glazed corner cupboard from Waterloo County. This is a classic example of the design that collectors recognize, know and love as early "Waterloo County". The characteristics include the tapered cornice and concave return, the arched "Queen Anne" detail to the upper lights and the flat mullions of the glazed doors. Notice the "butterflied" shelf edges and the convincing faux wood grained surface. This clean and early example has a three-board back. If you appreciate early Canadian craftsmanship, this is it.
Condition: Original comb-painted surface and cast hardware. Pastel blue interior appears to be a later re-paint. No structural restoration of any kind.
