This is a set of Adirondack furniture - six chairs (three each of two designs) , one side table and one two-seater. They were made and used in a cottage at Stokes Bay, Ontario in the Bruce Pennisula. The family was in the steel business, from Pittsburg in the States, and summered in Stokes Bay.
They were made around 1900 locally and appear to have been set outdoors but in a protected area as they are in reasonably good condition.
They have been in use on our porch until this weekend.
