A portly and fashionably dressed golfer carved by Ben Stiles of Moncton, New Brunswick circa 1960. Stiles carved figures and animals that have found there way to collections in the Maritimes and central Canada.
The body is from one piece of wood; with the hat, tee and ball carved separately and applied. Painted with oil paint; a lively, colourful addition to any folk art collection or a true conversation piece for your favourite golfers desk. Overall height 12 1/2"
