A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY TOOLS
One of the tools is a punch with a beautifully-turned, solid wood handle having a single, deep incised line, a brass ferrule and a steel 4-sided pick. There is a delicate, decorative line just below the widest point on the ferrule. Approx. overall length in inches: 5 3/8”.
The other has a forged iron blade having bevelled edges with a softly rounded pick at one end of the blade and a curved, flattened portion opposite it which I presume is for gouging. It also has a brass ferrule and solid wood handle plus a steel hook for hanging. Approx. length in inches: 7”.
Both are 19th century carpentry tools and in excellent condition.
PRICE: $39.50 for the pair.
